Horrible Little Sods

I am not a fan of aphids. However, this blip is something of an experiment, just to see how close I could get to a very small subject. Two extension rings, and no flash, and sort of hand held.

I did have to rest my elbows on a crate, though, just to steady the hands a little. With 2 extension rings, camera shake was a bit of an issue.

And a minute after this shot was taken, the aphids were no more, so no opportunity of trying again. I'm not going to let them ruin my tulips - no chance. Not even in the interests of blip. So there.

Note to other half: We must invest in a decent tripod.
