Getting Ready

I saw there wasn't a cloud in the sky, so I went out to watch the sun rise.  Just as I got to the lake a couple of rowing crews were setting up, just perfect I thought.  That's Mt Maude in the background.  I didn't have time for breakfast, as little 'h's' netball game was at 9.30 a.m.  It was frosty and cold.  (Extra 1)  Then the sun appeared behind Mt Iron, yay, what a difference in temperature!  (Extra 2).

After lunch it was time to go and watch the little girls doing their dance routines.  There were 44 items, I stayed around until after little 'h's' dance which was No. 19, then headed for home.  It has been a beautiful sunny day, chilly to start with, but soon warmed up.

The third extra is of Mum and Dad outside the family home in 1936.  The house was built in Hamilton in 1907 for my grandparents, and I sold it in 1992, when I moved to live in Wanaka.  I have had no regrets.
