Weekend Away

We set off early to go to Sheffield today.. We haven't seen #1 Daughter and family since April. 2 months is a long time in the life of a 3 year-old and we found Emily amazingly communicative, and not shy on seeing us arrive this time.

ArcaneSpark had told school that we would be picking up Daniel: that was a first for us. After a bit of worry that we may not recognise him, we were relieved when we did. It's a big junior school compared to the one his mum went to. She was in a year group of 2.

It was nice sitting out in the garden in the evening. Dan likes to get his hands on my camera and Emily followed suit by asking for granddad's! Before Dan got too much control of mine I snapped Rachel and Emily.
