Washington Street School

If you stay at the Menzies Hotel in Glasgow, you can park your car in the grounds of what was once the Washington Street Primary School. I always like looking at the building which opened in 1890. At the back of the school, the grounds host some of the pillars for the Kingston Bridge and the bridge is only a few feet from the building.

This street art / graffiti (delete depending on your opinion) is on one of the walls beside the school. I knew I wasn't going to get much time to take photos as we had a packed day in Glasgow that included Sister Act at the King's (very good indeed) so quickly grabbed this.
