A banner or a rout

The collective nouns for a group of knights, apparently. These are the ones that local schools produced as a part of The Knights Trail. They are currently on display in the Waterside and the full size Knights, including this one have been moved from their locations. We were in town to collect my new glasses - which may make an appearance tomorrow - and to have lunch and a potter with the bestest friend. We managed to dodge the rain with the worst coming whilst we were trying on shoes. A couple of things bought for work and a good catch up on our respective Week Ones. 

Home to bring in the washing which was utterly drenched and to rinse and spin it again as a result. We braved a walk and got in just before it started to rain again. Bailey has slept the evening away whilst I have watched the Strictly launch - and been fairly pleased with the pairings for my already-favourites - and tried out the new glasses.
