Birthday blip

That's my 'real' birthday rather than a 'blip birthday' as I don't believe 800 is one of the blip milestones! L and I travelled up to Dundee for a birthday lunch with my parents - it's also my mother's birthday today. We went to a pub overlooking the river - our table was right beside the panoramic upstairs window giving us a fantastic view while we enjoyed our fish and chips. Long ago the pub featured on a TV beer advert that featured returning oil workers on a supply vessel seeing the pub from the river before enjoying a pint in the bar later. I believe it also had a reputation as an under-age pub in the past, but today I was more than three decades old enough for my lunch-time lager.
