Spring Moonset

The cold woke me at 4.30 am, which was just as well because there was a frost. I got up and sprayed my fruit trees with water to protect them. That’s when I noticed the moon. I went back to bed for an hour. The moon was heading for dark pine trees, so I defrosted my car and drove up the road a bit. Seeing it sitting on top of the Big Ben Range was a wondrous experience.
