Christmas Cactus

This was my mother's plant, brought to our house when she went into care. At this time of year I, naturally remember the circumstances of my being away when she was admitted to hospital and her spending 4 months there before she died but I read my blip of the last time I photographed this plant! Difficult times, that winter, for a lot of us on blip losing parents.

Better times ahead and better blips as these buds come into full flower.
