Suspense

We had a goodish day today. We decided to jump on a local bus and go to the next bay from Sanya, Ya Long Wan (Bay). On the way we stopped at the Ya Long Bay Rainforest. If you ever want to really long roller coaster ride head for this place. The driver of the tourist carts are absolute maniacs. We were thrown from side to side and had to hold on for dear life on our way to the top of the mountain. The kids were all going crazy but for an oldy like me it was a bit of a struggle,.. hehehe. It WAS fun though. And.. every time you went past another cart going the other way, people screamed out hello. On the way back down we had some kids who were having a ball and counted the 21 carts that we passed.

The highlight of the park is a 168m suspension bridge and it was almost worth the hour wait to get on it. The blip is the view as you start the journey across.

After we finished there we headed down to the beach. It was a really nice beach (for China) with people doing all the usual things they do at the beach here. Go out on seadoos, speed boats, swim or bury each other (or themselves) in the sand.

The night finished with a wonderful meal of some very expensive but waaaay worth it crabs.
