Hyacinths on Hartbeespoort Dam

Can you believe that this green area in front of the people is in fact our beloved Dam!? The Hyacinths took over about 80% of the dam and our municipality is totally bancrupt due to corruption and fraud, even money donated from Sweden years ago, to assist in saving our only source of water, disappeared in thin air! The local residents are trying, with donations from the community, to save our drinking and household water supply! Our hearts are broken to see our country deteriorating on a daily basis due to fraud and corruption in local government !
