a different lens

warning: says the weather channel. 25 degrees below normal for austin today. weird colorado weather, but welcome, you know, in an odd way. just don't get any colder.

i would apologize here for all the SP's but i'm only a little embarrassed to admit (for the first - brian points out that it is, in fact, the second - time ever in my blip-history) that i didn't take this photograph. and if i had i certainly would've worked so much harder - better focus, put down my tea, curtailed the laugh. but that's not who i am really - as you obviously know. so sometimes it's better to let someone else hold the lens. and i won't apologize for that, even though i think it might be against the rules.

thank you - it was unexpected and it brightened everything - even though the future looks murky at best, and things are not where either of us would like them to be - i know i will always have you as a closest, dearest friend, whatever happens.

and so it was cold, but at least one of my hands was warm.
