Poorly

Had to take Queen Zara to the vets yesterday evening as we noticed that her eye was sore.

She may need an operation she has been pre-booked for Monday but we are hoping she wont.

She really did not want to let the vet have a good look at her eye - but the options are she has an infection and the drops will clear it up, but if the drops make no difference then she has cherry eye (prolapsed gland) which will need to be fixed.

But while trying to get the drops in this morning I felt a hard lump on her nose - it felt like dried blood in her fur - being black its hard to see anything but I did try and have a look and I think she may have had a gash. I will try to have another look later when she is a bit calmer.

So Ferd may have got her after all when he snapped the other day and I had checked her over but couldnt find anything :(

But she is bright, bouncing around, nibbling books, eating, drinking and pooing all ok so not too worried.

Fingers crossed she wont need an operation as we had a bit of a hard time with her when she was spayed.
