Crazy climb

My blip is of the famous chequerboard garden display in the Botanical Gardens (actually my third favourite of the gardens but it was a Bank Holiday and buses to the others are in even more short supply).

I’d read about a super restaurant with “the best view over Funchal” and it was apparently about 1.5 km away from these gardens.

However, nobody had told me it was nearly vertical ! I did head up there. The view was indeed spectacular - and I even found a bus stop and a bus for future reference. It’s called Restaurante Planka for any curious foodies. I’ll be back.
