Above Hoy Sound (Day 979)

We had a late start this morning, which meant that it was daylight by the time that my  beautiful wife and I headed up the hill with the woofers.
Later, as HV zoomed off for hossing, I made for town to collect fuel for the boiler and a few other odds and ends.
Once we had unloaded the van and munched through lunch, HV and I trundled to Stromness to collect Evie the wonderdog for a wander at the reservoir. It was chilly in the stiff breeze and the sky suggested rain wasn't too far away, but the dogs enjoyed tearing around in the heather looking for rabbits. The view over Hoy Sound looked like it would make a reasonable blip.
