Goldfinch, male

Another wasted day. Woken early morning by yet another energy sapping pain in my head. Consequently no market, no coffee, and not much of anything else either.

However did spend a few minutes being entertained by a small flock of goldfinches busy pecking seed from the various weeds and grasses that combine together as our lawn. This is not the best of images but the best of the ones taken out the kitchen window with my trusty wee canon.
