A new colour scheme

The room is north facing and cold.  The walls were painted a sort of pinkie magnolia and the room always seemed cold so it was little used.  The walls are now a reflective white and, taking a leaf out of the Scandi book where winters are long and light at a premium, the cupboards, bureau and shelves have been repainted grey.  I learned today that the fireplace beam may be another week coming so a shot of the rest of the room will have to wait And no, I don't play bowls!
