Kastelórizo in Greek, Meis Adasi in Turkish

No one would give us permission to land there in our kayaks, so we didn't, honest, depite having our Swiss passports. This island is just two and a half kilometres from Kas and is the easternmost island of the Greek islands. We have never in 7 years of coming here, actually set foot on it but today we decided it would be daft not to at least paddle up to the island and look at it from the sea. There are two harbours and we were sorely tempted to pull into this one which was so pretty, much more so than the main harbour where the tourist boats and restaurants are. The main downside of not setting foot on dry land was that we had already paddled for 2 hours. By the time we got back, the long way round it was 4 hours so various parts of our anatomies were complaining of old age! I can hardly type tonight!

Thanks for all the favourites and stars for yesterday's Turkish dragons, much appreciated.
