Saturday: Plitvice Lakes

Croatia has about 12 national parks and today we are ambling around Plitvice, the national park that is nearest to us.  It is famous for its waterfalls and lakes.  The colours are simply stunning at the moment but I can I imagine that it is incredible at any time of the year.  

We did get caught in the rain on the way back to our room, but we are drying out in a very cozy ecolodge at the moment (at least there is a lot of wood and stone, so I think it is Eco).

Predictive typing can be cumbersome - at various points Plitvice has been plait ice or plot vice.
