Ruby Crowned Kinglet

Today my sister rolled in about noon, from a beach trip, and we decided to go to the Koll Parkway Wetlands in SW Portland... which is fed by Fanno Creek....to see what sorts of birds we could find. We saw lots of chickadees, scrub jays, flickers, white egrets, blue heron, starlings, and then saw my first flock of Green Teal Ducks this season...along with the greater yellowleg. But I went with the Ruby Crowned Kinglet as I rarely see them, and they are hard to capture.....and I love their eyes!!
