'Tis the Season

Snow flurries fell all day long, but no more than an inch accumulated on the ground. In any case, it seemed a proper welcome to December.

We went into town to get an advent calendar late this afternoon. (Looking at my year-ago blip, I realize that I wasn't on the ball last year, either.) We finally found one she liked. I liked it because it didn't have candy or a thousand little plastic pieces that would inevitably find their way between the sofa cushions or inside the vacuum cleaner.
