In Dogs We Trust

Another slightly random pic from the daily life of a parliamentarian. It's not all beer & skittles you know. It's not even all serious debates. Running parallel to both those activities are a host of receptions and lobbying efforts from a huge variety of organisations keen to sign MSPs up to their campaign. Cue MSPs whizzing in and out of a variety of meeting rooms having their photos taken, adding their signatures to whiteboards or petitions or press campaigns.

You do have to be a bit careful though lest you find yourself signing up to something you didn't mean to and risking trouble for doing so!

No such concerns today. In case you've not already guessed, we were visited by the Dogs' Trust, launching their winter campaign to remind everyone that a dog really is for life & not just for Christmas. Somewhere soon a pic & a press release will go out reminding everyone to care for our canine friends.

These little cuties are squeezable stress puppies. Together with candy canes they were our 'reward' for signing up. There's no requirement to enter them into the Register of Members' Interests :-)
