this is that little - blossom shown the other day - on the rescued african violet plant - fully opened up now with - outstretched arms reaching towards - the heavens as if to say - "i'm alive, i'm alive"

with so much gratitude - to my brother for rescuing - this little plant for me - it's now safely sitting - on a new credenza - in my new apartment home - playing peek-a-boo - with that other tiny bud - waiting to open as well - both signs of hope and joy - in what has been a very long 3 weeks - of a brand new year but - we're getting ever closer to..
