Moss in Heiðmörk

The roads and paths were icy today, thank goodness I was not driving, coming from South Africa I am not used to these conditions!

We drove through the Heiðmörk forest, I think 90% of the trees in Iceland are planted here (just kidding!). I find the moss very beautiful to look at, (not so nice to walk on, although it is soft, the stones underneath are uneven and sharp) and had to take a picture.
