Almost Gone

I thought I had better get a couple of pictures of the George Hotel before it disappears, the scaffolding went up a couple of weeks ago but over the last couple of days the iconic old hotel at Town End has changed dramatically.

This pub was put up for lease but there were no takers, it was then offered for sale and eventually for change of use to flats. It was eventually decided that it would need to be demolished to make way for a new development of modern flats.
