The Phoenix Rises

The morning was spent cleaning our bedroom. A thankless task, but does yeild it's benefits. Enough stuffing for a teddybear, from under the bed being the major one.

The afternoon was spent under the tender care of my pal Audrey, who did a very splendid job of my hair.

The very same Audrey then encouraged me out on the tiles of Edinburgh. The train took the strain as we headed to the Xmas market, strawberry daiquiris and dinner. Everything seemed to sparkle after that, even the packed, (post xmas works night out) revellers didn't dull it and taxi Ally took us home.

The fact that Audrey then took her dogs out for a walk and fell and damaged her ligaments and spent the rest of the night in A+E certainly dampened her's. I was fast asleep and unaware of that fact till the middle of the morning.

Perhaps we are too old for this after all?

Nae chance!
