Christmas Is Coming

Doing something a bit different this year: instead of spending a lot of money and having a beautiful big tree festooned with miles of red beads and shiny red baubles, we have spent half the amount and bought a small, container-grown conifer which will be planted at our holiday lodge in the New Year instead of going out on the pavement with the rubbish!

Such a busy time as I prepare the shop for closing! Today The Mother had another appointment at the Infirmary, this time for a Barium Swallow. She was rather cross as it had been incorrectly described: it turned out to be 4 swallows. One of which didn't actually make it that far! Well at least they now understand what her problem is.

At the moment I have no internet at home and too busy at work for blipping. Haven't missed taking the shots, though. Will back-blip later.

In other news, I have some exciting toys heading my way which I will blip in due course!
