The Famous Gus ....

.... came to meet us today at Knottman’s house with his dad, gladders. David had to go see “a man about a boat” near Kendal, so it would have been rude not to call in to Arnside for tea with these famous blippers .... extra to see the three wise men: gladders, David and Knottman2. Sorry we didn’t have longer together especially as Mrs K and Mrs G arrived just as we had to leave.

Visiting Mum on the way back, I got a response today. She asked for water and actually said, “Bye, God bless” when I left her. It made my heart sing. It must have been your good wishes that worked, thank you.
