Just another day in the sun and warmth of Cuba. It sometimes just hits me.....there's no snow here!!!!! and i laugh out loud. what a vastly different world it is down here.....and not just the heat.....we went for a horse and buggy ride to another resort, got to see some of the countryside and then walked about a small market which was just closing. but we stopped to talk with one of the guys and it turned out that he used to live in the Casa we stayed in 4 years ago, in a small village called Gibera.....he was there when we were....how crazy is that!!!

one of the good things about this resort is that there isn't this crazy need to get down to the beach at 6am to find a cabana and mark your spot.....usually around 11 am there is still spaces and chairs, what a relief.
