Fruit Faux Pas

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

When you were here LTJ, you bought pears. I have to confess that they were chucked in the fridge and I completely forgot about them until today. They were looking a bit sad and I didn’t hold out much hope for them still being edible, but as I hate wasting food, I decided to give one of them a try. To my surprise, it was just perfect.

“OMG, what a great pear,” flashed through my head.

And then I realised. And laughed out loud. Sitting on my own.

This is why my friends go and live on the other side of the world!
