Exam and chill

Morning in the library then off to meet JD after her first exam! Powered through then met her and a few friends on the meadows, we both planned to have the afternoon off, and then go to the cinema in the evening to see sisters brothers (film depiction of the book I just finished). The exam went well, and we celebrated this in the sun. In the afternoon we went for a climb at Pleasance, due to revision neither of us have done much exercise for a while, so it was a great couple of hours. We then headed home, in fear of falling asleep at the cinema, we hoped to get a quick nap in after we made tea. But in our classic style we massively overs estimated how much time we had, never mind.

The film was amazing, and we didn’t fall asleep - thanks to JD elbowing me if she thought my eyes were dropping! It’s a western, but with a spin, less emphasis on the classic shootout scenes and more about the relationship of two brothers on the road. After we went for a drink at the hanging bat a craft ale and micro brewery on Tollcross, it has a great atmosphere and we love it. Upon yawning on entry the bartender recommend a coffee infused stout, not disappointed.

A great break from revision, tomorrow a big bike ride planned.
