FIRE

I nipped out to get some bread and milk at dinner time and saw this scene at Town End.

I suppose fire is always an occupational hazard for a chippy but there was quite a lot of police activity and scenes of crime investigators so I wonder if they think it is suspicious?

This shop used to be called Town End Chippy and at one time people used to be queued out onto the street most tea times, it seems a lot quieter recently.

It is on the opposite side of the road from the site of the George Hotel so there is going to be quite a lot of rebuilding and repair work going on in the New Year.
