...Happy New Year!

I wish you all a happy, healthy New Year ... filled with laughter, joy, friendship, love, good food (and wine,) and photos to record each moment.

This is kind of a simple blip today. I considered giving you another woodpecker in flight, but I thought this lovely little tree sparrow captured my sentiments today. And, since it is the first one I've seen this winter, seemed fitting to record it.

Hubs and I have a quiet evening planned ... roast leg of lamb, stuffed artichokes (hubs is making them!) a nice salad and something red. We will reflect on the year that has passed and maybe think about the year ahead ... or maybe just enjoy the moment. And tomorrow, we'll meet up with a friend for brunch ... a fitting way to start the new year.
