New Year's Day Walk

The sun made a welcome appearance for the New Year while we were out walking on Street Hill this morning. There were a lot of families out enjoying squelching through the mud and gulping in fresh air.

Down to Huish Park this afternoon where The Glovers made a "resolute" start to the New Year with a really convincing and entertaining 3 - 0 win against Leyton Orient, then over to our friends' this evening for a quiet drink and last minute instructions for keeping an eye on their house while they are away for the next 10 weeks. It's their turn to do the retirement gap year trip this year: Fiji to stay with their son and his wife at the end of this week, then Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and China. Should be some experience!

Just noticed we were walking and blipping up here this time last year.
