Winter Colour

After the discovery of yesterday's emerging snowdrop, I had another prowl round the garden and found: hellebore buds (so the Lenten roses may well come in Lent this year!), the lilac tree coming into leaf, the chestnut tree showing huge fat tightly furled leaf buds, green spikes emerging all over the garden and this one wallflower. The other wallflowers are doing nothing but this one has decided to come out to play. They are all appropriately planted hard by one of the garden walls.
