Twelfth Day

I caught these shadows of reindeer figures as they ran past the breadmaker to get back in the Christmas box. Except I'm de-Christmasing them so they can stay out. They're far too beautiful to spend eleven months out of sight. They'd called me back to the garden centre when the magical sign "50% off" appeared. The last two had somehow lost their bar codes (honestly nothing to do with me though I wouldn't put it past myself) and the cashier disappeared off. He returned empty handed and asked "how does £4.50 each sound?" I bit his hand off as they'd been priced at £30 each. Happy bargain days!
