American vs. Eurasian Wigeons

Thought this was a great example of the difference between the American and the Eurasian Wigeons! You don't see the Eurasian Wigeons very often, but once in a great while there will be one among a huge group of the American Wigeons. The Eurasians are the ones with the cinnamon colored heads. They really are quite beautiful, and it's always a treat to find one as they are considered rare in the US. In recent years their numbers have been increasing in the Pacific Northwest.
