'Go to work on an egg'

An advertising slogan written for the Egg Marketing Board by Fay Weldon in the '60's.

I'm a great fan of eggs for breakfast. The protein is a slow releasing energy source which keeps me feeling full until lunchtime.

This fine fellow has come from a Cotswold Legbar chicken. Distinguished by the blue shell, the yolk is a deep, creamy yellow with a fine flavour. I think they are the best eggs you can buy.
