Experimenting

... with the stubby 35mm lens and a wide aperture. I took a number of "arty" pictures of my bowl of clementines and walnuts (read: nothing was in focus). They are a cheery colour on a cloudy day. And I did get a lot of work done.

Annoyingly, in the last two days I've seen two large murmurations of starlings. Yesterday I was in the car and couldn't stop, and today I didn't have the camera with me, and they'd gone by the time I fetched it. They would have made a more exciting blip than a bowl of fruit :)
