Mr. Flicker & Friends Return

Why is it that the Flicker hangs with the starlings? Everytime Mr. Flicker flies is, along comes a huge flock of starlings....ugh. I actually think they are very pretty, but they are a messy bird (lots of poop) and are glutons...pigs, mind you!!! They can down the balls or cakes of suet in no time!! Am I getting picky or what?
