Why?

Do ideas always look better in your head? This was the best I could manage with the 'Seeing Stars' idea in our kitchen this evening. Not at all pleased with it, but I need a blip for today, and it was this or the fridge door magnets.
Earlier, the much ballyhooed snow was singularly unimpressive, at least in Edinburgh, and I didn't take the camera out at Soc Cafe this morning when we discussed whether it was a problem that the older generation are spending the kids' inheritance and if we should abolish Christmas.
So this is it. Hopefully will be (a) more inspired and (b) more successful in the week ahead.
