Through a lens darkly

You're so vane

There have been several blip opportunities (blippertunities?) today, including a lady carrying a cat inside her coat and lots of frost on windscreens. However, I decided that today was a day for architecture and random people on the street. This shot was taken on campus. I have always loved the little corner over which the clock tower peeps.

When the Queen came to open the Forum last summer, there were police snipers in that clock tower. A policeman came round the Physics building and told us off for taking photographs through our office windows - apparently, we looked like potential threats and were in danger of being shot!

Today has been a day of finding fronds of tinsel in my desk drawers, setting up experiments in the laboratory and being annoyed at the smell of fish wafting through the building into my office.
