Phew - did you smell that!

Both our two year old bulls went for a ride in the truck this afternoon - off to the meat works. We don't keep Bulls beyond this age, as they become too agressive towards the cows - and probably us if we didn't keep an eye on them!

We had the Bulls in the yard waiting for the stock truck to arrive, when I took this photo. Not sure what he had been doing to give him such a strange face - I just love the closed eyes.

If you enlarge the photo, you will see rain falling. It poured this morning when we got up to milk in the early hours of the morning, and we've had intermittent heavy falls during the day, inbetween bouts of sunshine. Very pecuilar weather for this time of the year.
