The lipstick has opened

A new stage in the life of a lipstick plant. It belongs to the family Gesneriaceae -other representatives of this family are e. g. the african violets.

We both caught a cold - so we're stuck in the flat for a while...hopefully not too long! The spring is officially here, and we saw a little bit of sun this morning. The outside temperature is about +4°C.
