Forth or 4th?

The Forth Rail Bridge is so instantly recognisable. I was in South Queensferry briefly today, the contrast between the rusty red of the bridge and the range of blues in the sky was beautiful.
We had a comparatively quiet day today. After I got back from SQ, Colin and I walked to Stockbridge and enjoyed a bowl of leek and potato and pear soup at Soderberg, delicious in spite of the odd combination. It seems you can put anything into soup these days.
We walked back up the river to Queensferry Road and Colin walked on home while I got the bus, which was rather nice, thank you bus pass! The weather held up and tonight seems much calmer than some of the recent evenings.
We had a lazy dinner - leftover paella from yesterday with some added fresh veg to lift the texture a bit. A game of the family Edition of Trivial Pursuit this evening, we were both hopeless, although we were doing the grown ups questions, presumably we were from the wrong era!
