In the Forest

This morning I had an early appointment in Darfield and decided to go for a walk in McHugh’s plantation, which belongs to the Council and is a community reserve. It was rather dark and foggy, but pleasantly mild and calm.

A group of (I think) retired men have made many tiny doors and parked them along the walking path for children to find. Rather Quaint. I met three bright-eyed girls searching in anticipation. They were followed by two bored boys, one of whom was pointing without interest, obviously counting the doors. The other one was studiously looking the other way.

Girls might like to look at my extra shot.
