A nostalgic view of Holland

A bit of the old farmland untouched yet by the expanded cities of Delft and Rotterdam. I suppose that such scenes of Dutch farmland are extinct in a few decades from now.

I got here today to hand out the  photo I'd taken a year ago of of this old man. He wasn't home anymore his neighbours told me, as he's been admitted in a nursing home last Autumn. They do visit him there and will hand him his picture; lovely to hear they'll do so and that he's around still.
