Wide Angle Wednesday ....

.... Wind Creek Casino .....

.... closed. Temporarily.

I thought I would continue with the historic theme for today's Wide Angle Wednesday ... as well as stick to the actual theme of Bridges/roads.

The above is a picture of the one and only casino that is in our area ... it opened up several years ago as the Sands Casino.  It was recently sold for a ridiculous amount of money and changed to Wind Creek.  The historic part of all this is the fact that the casino is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus.  I can't even imagine the revenue lost from a two week (or more) closure of a casino!  Not to mention all the lost wages for the employees .... it's truly a sad situation.

We are still in our self-isolation.  The trip to this ore bridge that was used by Bethlehem Steel was our only outing for the day.  The above photo is a two picture merge as we didn't take the fisheye lens with us and I couldn't get the entire bridge in one shot with the 18-55mm lens!  I have processed with Nik Color Efex Pro to brighten it up as the day was dark and dreary.

Today is international Waffle day so of course I made waffles for supper! Yumm!

In case you missed it yesterday .... I have created a new journal dedicated entirely to squirrels and chipmunks.  I have posted my second entry here if you'd like to have a look.
