Mimosa

One of the first signs of spring in the Languedoc, along with almond blossom. I find mimosa rather brash and never seem to reproduce the colour properly in a photo, but here it is, one of the colours of January here. I think that almond blossom, which also appears at the end of January, is much prettier, but I've only seen one tree in flower so far this year and couldn't blip it because I was in the car. Guiri blipped a lovely one in Andalucia the other day, though.
