Kirkwall Basin

In Kirkwall this evening and this was a last minute blip before the light went. The 'Basin' is the main harbour, for fishing boats etc.

I took a few pictures but this is the only one in focus. Must suss out how to take pics in fading light. Then again I wont have to worry about that for the next few months. Now firmly on the path to midsummer and nights when it doesn't really get dark. I love the swing of the seasons. Life would be dull if things were the same all year round.
