"Glad you get commendation Sue, sorry you not win"

I was incredibly nervous before the 'Pink Lady Food Photography Awards' tonight. There was a lot of excellent work, especially quite political stuff from the Indian Sub-Continent and China.

In my category 'One Vision Imaging: Cream of the Crop' I was Highly Commended which is not bad.

Just as my category winers were announced and I realised I wasn't a winner little Duncan came out of his nest and looked up at me though the bars. I brought him out for a cuddle and some fresh celery. Winning doesn't really matter as long as you have the love of friends and a good hamster.
